TK Lee's Review of the Michael Shanks and Christopher Judge Signing at the
Infinitely Better Store in Swindon on the 29th January 2004
Well my day started at 5am which may not be the time I want to get up but is OK as I normally get up for work then anyway. First job is to look out the window and see what the weather is like. Well the snow is still there grrrr but does not look like it will be enough to stop me, so with that it's time to get dressed and face the world.
Outside I get to be confronted by a car compleatly caked in snow, after about 15mins of numbing my hands the car is now clear enough to use WoooHooo. Well the journey had a few slippy spots but once I hit the main roads I was away.
I finally get to Swindon shopping center at about 11:30am and meet up with my friends Chris on the Left and Foxy on the Right
So now I'm in the queue and we realise that Chris and Foxy (And me to a fasion) are the closest people there to costumed individual so we gained a certain degree of attention, especially from the different people from the press and not being one's to shy away from a chance to appear in print we obliged :)
Now the signings where not going to start till 2:30pm, so as you can see we had about 3 and a half hours to kill, but with the press and all the chatting we did with fellow gaters in the queue the time passed without notice. It was really nice to get a chance to have a really nice chat with other gaters in person and all the little nugets of info yoou all pass back and forth are always nice to hear. :)
Then the time came the doors opened, and they started to shepard people in in small groups so as not to overflow the shop which was good. Then came our turn and we finnaly got to talking to Christopher Judge and Michael Shanks, And what can I say what nice guys, they were really friendly and quite happy to talk about season 8 which they start filming in about a month, I won't put any spoilers to any stories here but I will say check out Teal'c head in season 8, as Christopher has finaly won out after years of the network saying no, it would seem as Teal'c will be sporting hair and if it's going to be the same as what I could just see under his hat it will suit Teal'c quite well :)
Then unfortunately came the time we had to leave them for others to play too.
All in all a GREAT day and well worth the early start and long
drives. If any of you guys 'n' gals get the chance to ever see
them make sure you do (Like I even had to say that lol).

long enough for them to kick in lol.
